As an advisor your mission is to help your client achieve financial security. Educating the client the importance of insurance, how does it work, what can it do etc. With so many products coming out more people are now aware and are entice in buying life insurance especially now that insurance acts as invesetment in one.
As a financial advisor you need to have a license both ordinary life and variable unit link. To be taken at the insurance commision, you have to pass the exam in order for you to obtain your license and then you have to undergo series of trainings for you to be equip with extensive knowledge about the product, how to sell the product and how to present the product to name a few.
Yearly you have to renew your license both in the company and in the insurance commision, insurance commision impose a minimum quota while your company can impose larger amount of quota. There is no basic pay or allowance given by the company purely commision basis. If you can achieve your quota within the given time you get delisted and wont be able to sell and use your license.
Be ready to experience rejection and be ready to experience all sorts of frustrations and anxiety. Just like i did during my tenure you need to be strong as a rock but have a heart for the need of your client.
I belong to an agency who were use to be from ayala life plans. Most of them were good mentors a legend in there field having started there career as far as 1972. Headead by our agency manager we treat one another as a family helping one another. Especially now that 90% of my co advisors are in there senior age. I have so many lolo and lola. Even do we are pressured to deliver on our sales target we still find time to laugh and enjoy the company of everyone.
